Last Day to Register

Today's the last day to register for Shere's altered box/accordian album class.

• Class Title - "Time Together" Accordion Album and Box Set

This is one project packed class! Prima's and tulle and leaves, oh my! Not only will we use prima flowers and leaves to make a unique flower for the top of our box, but we will cover our box and make a matching chipboard accordion album too. A tall order for one class, but I think with a little dedication, a sharp blade in our cutters and a lot of elbow grease, we can transform the ordinary, raw products that you will get in your class kits into works of art! This class is very fast paced and includes a lot of cutting. The paper mache box measures 7"X7"X3". The 7gypsies chipboard accordion album has 6 pages, 3 binding rings and measures 6 3/4"X 4 3/4".

March BUNCO

   

Third Thursdays at The Pink House are always rockin'.  Ladies' Night BUNCO is a super-fun, social event.  We eat, we talk, we laugh, we roll some dice, we eat some more, we talk some more.  March Bunco's Biggest Loser was...   LEE   (Here she is wearing the Loser's Tiara.  heeeheeee)

Consignment Corner

I am so excited about this program. I am making room at The Pink House to help showcase some of our local talented crafters. We have cardmakers, watercolor painters, seamstresses, professional scrappers and more!

Not so talented? Well maybe you have some craft tools in "like-new condition" that you'd like to sell. Did you up-grade to the Cricut Expressions and want to sell your smaller machine? Give me a call to sell your items here.

Yard Sale Date Changed

Our Annual Spring Yard Sale has been moved to Saturday, April 18th - 8am.  That gives us an extra 2 weeks to prepare.  Call The Pink House (843-744-6911) right away to get your Seller #.  It's only $5, and remember you get 100% of your sales right back in store credit.  All things crafty are acceptable.  Items due by April 13th.  Thanks!

Sellers do not have to be present, but we highly recommend that you come & shop everyone else's great deals.  :)

Zane's 10th Birthday

Last Thursday, my son turned 10 years old - that's an entire decade! 

We celebrated with gifts, cheesecake, candles and my favorite - handmade cards from each of the girls with a letter of what they each wished for their brother.  Zoe orchestrated the whole thing.  She even went with her daddy to pick out Zane's presents the night before.  Mom dropped in w/ perfect timing.  They were all waiting for me to get home from work that night with New York style cheesecake in hand.  (Zane doesn't like anything on it, not even chocolate and especially not strawberries.)

 

           

I love you Buddha for all that you are... a sweet caring brother, a thoughtful son, a good friend, an excellent student, a superstar athlete and more!

Snips & Snails

My Monday delivery was a relatively small box, but you know... great things come in small packages!  This new line from 3 Bugs in a Rug is soooooo stinkin' cute!  (No Amber, you can't poke it's eye out!)

These papers are perfect for a little boy, but the backsides are versatile enough for any other theme... Easter, Pets, Travel, and more.

 

BTW:  I'm sorely missing my Bobby - Mr. UPS man.  So far I've had a different driver nearly everytime... and I'm getting a couple deliveries a week now.  Monday's delivery guy was actually Alicia Calahan's brother.  Small world.  Hey Girl, I asked your brother to tell you Hi!  :)

It's not exactly a HOT PINK, but at least it's not yellow anymore!

Michael and I started the painting process on Friday.  Okay, actually Michael started on Friday.  He's the one that pressure washed the buidling.  BIG THANK YOU to Terrie for letting us borrow the pressure washer!!  We got a mid afternoon start on Saturday because one of us was up all night Scrappin' at The Pink House.  Oooooh-guess that would be me.  Hey you can't blame a girl for trying to squeeze some scrapbooking in, even if the Friday crowd was a bit rowdy this weekend.  You know who you are!!

So, anyway when we finally arrived Saturday to paint, I realized that "we" didn't take down the window screens or the shutters before pressure washing.  Soooooo, I wound up having to scrub the window sills with soapy water.  Ugh-it was yucky!  Once the windows dried and we had everything all taped up, it was nearly 5:00 and that was too late to get started with the paint.  So we went home.  :)

 

Sunday morning we finally broke out the Wagner and got the front of the buidling painted.  Another BIG THANK YOU to Yvonne & hubby for letting me borrow the paint sprayer!!  I tell you what, this whole relocation process would not have been possible without the help and kindness of some pretty wonderful people.  Love you all so much!

Much love to my oh so well behaved children (yes, I'm talking about my heathens, I mean my sweethearts!)  They spent the day with us Sunday, playing in the grassy backyard, riding little push cars in the parking lot, and hanging out in my car like a fort.  Unfortunately, Bella decided to get into the driver seat and turn on the lights.  Of course my battery was killed.  Luckily, Jody was here so I could borrow her jumper cables.  BIG THANK YOU to Lisa for your help!!

This weekend... we'll paint the the sides and the back of the building to match the front.  :)

Wanna help paint?

Looks like the weather is finally going to get warm enough to paint the outside of our building - yay!!!  If you want to join us, we'll be getting our Plaster Pink on Saturday, noon 'til dark or when it's finished... whichever comes first.

So ummm... by the way... does anyone have a paint sprayer I can borrow?  Or how about a pressure washer?  I guess I've got to get the building washed down on Friday before we can paint.
