Too much fun :)

Good morning ladies!  I'm here at the store (like I'd actually be anywhere else!!) and I'm having way too much fun!  So, I thought I'd share...

I love-love-love my new Monogram Stamper.  It is way too cool!  Y'all know that I'm not a big stamper yet.  Ronee is dragging me kickin' & screamin' into the stamp world, but I really like my new toy.  We've already sold out of our 1st order (12 gone in 48 hours... whoa!)  So, the rest of you will have to wait for the next shipment in order to get yours.  We only have 6 more coming, due to arrive mid-next week.  Feel free to call if you want to pre-pay.

Today I'm playing with the latest release from Tonic... a tres cute set of holiday punches... a Sleigh, Reindeer, and holly berries/leaves.  These fit perfectly into the border punch system.  My Zoe has already made a cute card with the sleigh and reindeer. (Rudolph even has a red nose!  Am I raising her right or what?)

During this time of year especially, people remember to give to others in honor of the holiday season.  A charity that is very near and dear to Mom & me is The Ronald McDonald House.  Our family benefitted from their services while my baby niece, Skylar Grace, fought through surgery after surgery for 17 months.  We lost her last year but continue to appreciate all that RMH provided for us.

In Skylar's honor, Mom & I support the local Ronald McDonald House Charity in a variety of ways.  Last Fall, with the help of Mom's co-workers, we served dinner at the Charleston RMH as members of the "Prepare-A-Meal" program.  This Fall, we at The Pink House will be baking cookies for the "Lights of Love" ceremony, Tues. Nov. 27th @ 5:30pm. 

If any of you would like to donate 1-2 dozen homemade cookies for this event, please bring your treats in a disposable container to The Pink House by 1pm 11/27 or sooner.  The RMH also asks that you include a recipe if you can.

As an additional way to support the Ronald McDonald House, we will be creating a scrapbook for the families that are staying at the house.  We will gladly accept any page layouts or supplies donations.  Stay tuned for more details about this effort.

Cornish Heritage Farms stamps

Big News!!

Scrappin' at The Pink House now carries awesome rubber stamps made by Cornish Heritage Farms!  We have designs by Thomas Kincade & Kim Hughes, and we offer the Stamp of the Month.  Each S.O.T.M. stamp set comes with a color sample & written directions.  I only have TWO of each in this first order, so better get yours fast!!

Santa & Thomas Kinkade

That's the name of Kerilee's class this weekend.  Take a look at the TRES cute items she designed.  The class also includes a decorative candle band with the stamped Santa & mitten images.  Call me asap if you want a spot in her class, Sat. 1pm $18.

Also this weekend... "Step It Up!"  Come build a 6x6 layout, Step-It-Up to an 8 1/2 x 11, then finish it all on a 12x12.  Great idea.  Class starts at 10:30am this Saturday.  $18

Thomas Kincade

His stamps are VERY, VERY, H-O-T, HOT right now!!  Keri has put together some gorgeous cards & candle bands using his newest stamp designs (manufactured by Cornish Heritage Farms).  You can make these in her class on Sat. Dec 1st @ 10:30am ($15).  The day you register for this class, you can pre-order any of the 4 newest Thomas Kincade stamp releases at 25% OFF! 

Quarterly Calendar

I didn't get it at first when this design was being explained to me, but seeing the finished product makes me go... duh!  It's a calendar that you change each "quarter" of the year.  I love this idea.  I'm definitely making one for my desk.  You can, too, in Keri's class on Dec 1st, 4pm.  $12

Halloween 2007 ~ Dulaney style

It only took an hour to get all six kids ready, and then Mike & I drove 'em up to The Pink House for Mom to see.  (Yeah, I made Mom work on Halloween... I know, I'm such a slave driver!!)  So, the kids posed for their obligatory photo shoot, and then we headed out to Ronee's for the candy heist.

Mom is like the biggest Halloween fan ever, but we've been so busy lately that she didn't have a chance to plan ahead months in advance like usual.  But she still managed to rock it out!  Way to go Mom for "throwing something together."  Gotta love her!

This is my niece, Justice-2 yrs old, as a Tootsie Roll!!  She's so cute that everyone wants to eat her up.  :)
