Less than 48 hours!!

OMGosh!! *&^%$#@!!!  We open our doors for business in less than 48 hours.  Are you kidding me?  Um... well, at least most of the painting is done (unless you count the crop room, the entry, and the two bathrooms!)  ... and most of the products are put out (yeah right!  That's only if 10% qualifies as "most".)  ... and the register is set up (unless you want to pay w/ a credit card!)  Oh, and I guess Mom and I should actually figure out how to use our register system considering Bonnie might not be here this weekend to run it and she's the only one trained on it.

(You think maybe I shouldn't have had that 3rd cappuccino?)

Well, okay - so we still have a bazzillion things to do, but no worries.  We'll "Get 'er done!"

Scrappin' at The Pink House will be open for business at 10am Saturday morning come "Hell or Highwater."  So, come and see us.

This just in ... NANA's KIDS from DCWV

This line from DCWV is so cute!!  It has very playful colors and patterns and is adorned w/ glitter, yay!  I have both the new 12x12 and the 8x8 albums and paper stacks. 

Also, I have 4 new sports album kits that come complete w/ an 8x8 album, cardstock, printed papers, alpha stickers, die cuts & more.  These will be 20% for our Grand Opening only!

Well, you might like it.  You might not.  But at least it's done!  After a dern week, we finally finished most of the painting.  Have a look at our Front Retail Room...

Can you say "TIRED?"

Wow - how come nobody told us opening a new scrapstore would be so much work?  We have been painting for a whole week now and still aren't done.  Granted, I chose to do a different 3 color paint scheme for each of the six rooms.  Am I a glutton for punishment or what?

Well, I just thought I should check in and show that I'm still alive and kickin'.  ("Kickin and screamin" is more like it!)  I'll get some work-in-progress photos posted some time later this year.
